COPS are so proud of Theo!

Theo Earp, son of, Inspector Gareth Earp, who died on duty on 29 June 2023, braved the weather, beating the hills of the Rhayader Round The Lakes Race to come 23 out of 154 in memory of his Dad.

Theo’s Mum, Tamsin Earp, wife of Gareth and survivor of Care of Police Survivors said:

“The weather was horrible, wet and very cold, but he did it!

“Coming 23 out of 154 runners on the day – we’re so proud.

“It was lovely to have the Chief Constable Dr Richard Lewis supporting Theo at the race. It was a much appreciated support for Theo on the day.”

Chief Constable Dr. Richard Lewis said on twitter:

“Many congratulations to Theo on running the #Rhayader 10km in memory of his dad Gareth Earp. We’re all incredibly proud of him and the family.

They will always be a part of our wider Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police family and we will always be there for them.”
