Leicestershire Police have announced the death of former chief constable and COPS trustee Simon Cole.
Simon, aged 55, who recently retired from the force, was found dead at his home address in Kibworth Harcourt, Leicestershire, this morning.
This matter has been referred to the coroner.

COPS CEO Tim Buckley said: “We are absolutely devastated to hear about the death of Simon. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues. We will miss you.”
