Christmas card artwork goes under the hammer

Oct 2, 2020

Would you like to own a piece of COPS history?

We’re auctioning two pieces of fabulous original artwork painted by artist and survivor Greg Lashmar. Some of you may recognise the pieces, as prints were used for the first COPS Christmas cards.

Greg has kindly donated his art to be auctioned, and said: “During lockdown, I had time to sort out all of my art that was literally stacked up waiting for new homes. Two of the pieces which have been very popular at exhibitions I have held were those that I had painted for the COPS Christmas card designs.

“Obviously the pandemic has put paid to all exhibitions this year, so I wanted to offer COPS the originals to auction, so it can benefit directly, the art can find a new home and I can support the charity that has done so much for me in the last five years.”

The money raised will help us continue to support the families of officers that die on duty.

Bidding is open now and the virtual auction will run until the end of October.
