A big thank you to Blue Knights III and XVI motorcycle clubs who have generously donated £500 to COPS.
The groups, who are part of Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, which has more than 20,000 members world-wide, recently took part in a rally in Patterdale, Cumbria.
The sell-out event included two nights at The Patterdale Hotel with a number of rides taking place over the two days.
It saw the Blue Knights III and XVI join forces for the first time raising money for a number of charities, including COPS.
Walter Head, from Blue Knights England XVI, who helped organise the rally, said: “We have always supported COPS. It’s a wonderful charity which is very close to all our hearts.
“The rally was great and despite the horrendous weather we had an amazing turnout with more than 100 people take part.”
Survivor Libby Barnes, a member of Blue Knights Scotland 11 who took part, added the event was a huge success.
“Everyone who took part had a really good time,” she said.
“We all loved it and it was for such a worthy cause.”
