A man has trekked 100km along the River Thames raising more than £400 for COPS.
Jack, who admitted he wanted to challenge himself, started at Putney Bridge and walked throughout the night until reaching the finish line in Henley-On-Thames.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, he did it in just over 28 hours.
Jack said: “This challenge was nothing like I have ever done before. It was tough both physically and mentally.
“It stooped being fun around 73km. At 96km my legs seized up and was clinging on to lampposts. It was incredibly hard, but I got there in the end.”
For some of the trek, part of the Thames Path Challenge, Jack was joined by survivors Debbie and Philip Adlam, parents of PC Andrew Harper from Thames Valley Police.
Jack said: “I got to meet the incredible Debbie and Phil who came to cheer me on at several points throughout the challenge.
“Hearing from them was moving to say the least and kept me going when things got tough. Listening to their stories really inspired me. It was amazing to have their support.”
He added: “During the event I was thinking there is no way I would do it again, but now I’m thinking about it – or doing something different.
“I want to do more to help COPS. It’s such a worthwhile charity. The police are absolute heroes and any help they or the police family can get is deserved.”
