The service begins with the entrance of the Blue Knights motorcycle club and the UK Police Unity Tour, a fundraising cycle ride which sees hundreds of riders from across the UK meet at the NMA. To learn more about the UK Police Unity Tour, click here.

The service itself includes music from the West Midlands Police Brass Band, words from our Survivors, National President and Chair of Trustees, and the laying of wreaths from invited guests and organisations.

The NMA is home to ‘The Beat’ living memorial – a row of trees representing both police forces across the UK and police officers and staff who have died on duty. After the service, all are invited to spend time on ‘The Beat’ and remember our fallen officers.

The 2026 Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday 9th August 2026. All are welcome to attend free of charge.
