Met Sergeant dies in collision

Sergeant Iain Stuart McLay of the Metropolitan Police was fatally injured while travelling to report for duty in the early morning of 2nd November when his motorcycle was involved in a road traffic collision at Lewisham.
Iain was appointed in February 1986 and was attached to the Specialist Crime Directorate Intelligence Bureau having previously served with the Territorial Support Group. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues at this difficult time.
