Family Events
Here at Care Of Police Survivors (COPS), we like to arrange at least one type of family oriented event each year, in addition to holding our Annual Survivor's Weekend in Lichfield.
Our family events are special in that they are targeted at specific groups of survivors, i.e. for parents, spouses or children only, who have different kinds of needs in terms of support.
By bringing people with similar experiences together, the tramua of losing a son or daughter, a husband or wife, or a mum or dad in the line of duty can be shared, advice sought, and most of all, it can help survivors get on with the rest of their lives.
